We produce ultra high power resistors with different power levels from 350 W to 3,000 W. The parts are mounted directly on the heat sink and are characterized by outstanding dielectric strengths and partial discharge.
Cable connections are available for flexible installation. This prevents problems with air and creepage distances. An alternative is a direct-cooled high power resistor from 500 W to 1,700 W.
Miba Resistors ultra high power resistors are available in various power ranges, sizes, tight tolerances and ohm values to meet each customer’s specific requirements. Each series can be quickly and flexibly adapted to the customer’s specifications.

Most ultra-high power resistors show a standard DC of 7kV rms (up to 12kV rms on request). DC test voltage much higher available
Most ultra-high power resistors show a standard partial discharge rating of 4kV < 10pC (up to 7kV < 10pC on request)
Use ultra-high power resistor with pre-applied PCM for easy mounting and handling procedure (important ask for correct mounting activation details!).
Despite their compact size, our resistors offer high performance. In addition, costs are saved thanks to simple and quick installation.
